The difference
Why not just use kitchen salt?
Iodine belongs in food
Table salt in India is iodised by design — good for your diet, unnecessary and potentially irritating when flushed through the nasal lining twice a day.
Anti-caking agents
Free-flowing salts carry additives to stop clumping. They don't fully dissolve, and what doesn't dissolve ends up in your sinuses.
Grind size changes everything
Coarse crystals settle at the bottom of the pot and leave the solution uneven — too weak at first, too harsh at the end. Fine grind mixes evenly, every time.

Directions
One scoop, 500 ml, five minutes
Dissolve
One level scoop (5 g) into 500 ml lukewarm boiled-and-cooled water. Stir until completely clear.
Fill
Pour into your Jal Neti pot.
Tilt and pour
Lean forward over a basin, tilt your head sideways, rest the spout in the upper nostril.
Breathe through your mouth
Let the water run out of the lower nostril. Repeat on the other side.
Clear gently
Blow your nose softly — never forcefully — to clear residual water.
385 g. About 77 rinses.
